Kids coming soon

You know it’s Spring on a farm when you get so busy you don’t know which direction to go in first. We are preparing to tap trees and the goats are starting to make bags. It won’t be long until we have fresh milk on the table again! The chickens are starting to lay more and I’m looking at seeds for the garden. The snow is melting at a fast pace and you can actually see bare ground again. It is very exciting to see so many changes taking place all at once and a lot of work, but I love my job here on the farm. Taking care of everything and being able to stay at home and work for myself is very satisfying.

I am going out to my workshop this morning and make 3 or 4 batches of soap. I was just accepted into Artists At Work in Elkins, WV and think that this will keep me very busy. For a while I never thought that I would get caught up but now I am doing pretty well.
